tomorrow, I will be travelling to the US for 3 weeks in order to work on the subject for my next exhibition (American Dreamz 2 ) ; therefore posting will be temporarily stopped, hopefully returning to business by the end of August. I will try to publish the journal of the trip. Another US trip is planned mid November.The material I'm bringing : dSLR (20D) + 2 lenses, 2 point & shoot (my favorite fuji F11, with its top-of-the-class high ISO competencies + a minolta APS), a polaroid instant camera, a diana (120 film), a video camera, a picture databank 160Go (RAW use expected), sensor brush and blower etc... I did not recruit an assistant to carry all that so I'm wondering how I will manage ;-)) see you soon and enjoy your vacations, if any !

demain, je vais arrêter termporairement les posts car je pars pour 3 semaines aux US afin de préparer le sujet de ma future expo (American Dreamz 2) ; je publierai de nouveau avant la fin du mois d'aout, vraisemblablement sous forme de carnet de voyage les instantanés du périple. Un autre voyage aux US est prévu mi novembre 07.pour information voici une partie du matériel emmené : un reflex numérique (20D), deux compacts (mon fidèle -et discret- Fuji F11, aux qualités incomparables en haut ISO, et un minolta APS), un pola, un diana (film 120), une caméra vidéo, un videur de carte autonome 160Go (je fais du RAW), le matériel pour mettoyer le capteur etc... je n'ai pas prévu le porteur (peut être une erreur !) à très bientôt et bonnes vacances pour ceux qui ont la chance de pouvoir en prendre !

j'ai découvert récemment ce jeune photographe américain qui faisait la une du numéro spécial de RP n°4 ; j'ai bien aimé son style ; ceux qui me connaissent savent que moi aussi j'aime bien manier le flou et le net (cf ma dernière série exposée Americain Dreamz) ; alors avec les photos de "Ray", ça a de suite fait tilt. Je me suis amusé en quelques clics à essayer d'imiter le maître. Qu'en pensez vous ? D'autres photos suivront.

I have seen for the first time this young americain photographer, whose picture was heading a french specialized photo magazine. I appreciate his touch ; my relatives know that I also like to mix in my pictures blur and sharp (cf my last exhibition "americain dreamz") ; so with Ray's images, I immediately liked. I played a bit with layers to copy the "Master" . What do you think ? some others will follow.
